Portrait of Kyle

Kyle

Co-Founder/Operator

A sales leader and systems thinker who's gone from the front line to running sales and operations for multi-state companies — he sees the whole system and makes it simple.

Background

Kyle's path through sales has been anything but typical. He started as an Assistant Golf Professional and Tournament Manager at a private Massachusetts club — then, realizing the golf industry wasn't going to pay the bills, he moved into sales and never looked back. He cut his teeth selling solar door-to-door, learning the fundamentals of selling, human psychology, and how businesses actually run. From there he moved through outside sales in building products and into inside sales — first hardware, software, and professional services for small businesses, then SaaS for small and mid-sized companies.

He found his stride in cannabis. As the first sales hire and Director of Sales at a fast-growing Massachusetts brand, he helped scale it fast — then led wholesale and field marketing for one of the largest privately held operators in the Northeast, across four legal markets (MA, RI, ME, and NJ) with a team of fifteen, growing established markets and launching an entirely new one in New Jersey. Most recently he's stood up a New York operation from scratch: facility build-out, compliance, systems, and go-to-market — building both the internal stack and the team to run it.

He's known for making complex situations simple and clear, reading what's really going on fast, and connecting sales, marketing, and operations into a single system — building high-performing teams and turning strategy into on-the-ground execution.

Outside of work

Kyle was born and raised in Massachusetts and has spent most of his life there, aside from a California solar stint and regional travel across the Northeast. A few years back he discovered a passion for growing food that turned into an obsession with permaculture and regenerative agriculture — and eventually into 25 acres in South Carolina, where he's building a regenerative farm with his dad. The rest of his time goes to anything outdoors and moving: softball with the guys, golf, and hikes and walks with the dog. It's the same instinct that shows up in his work — build something real from the ground up, then tend it so it lasts.

"I do my best work where the playbook doesn't exist yet — new markets, lean teams, real constraints. Hand me the messy, unstructured problem and I'll build the system that solves it."
